You can cook, you can entertain, you've got your family there with you and all your loved ones, and that's what makes it home. I'm from a big family so we wanted a big area to be able to entertain and a good outdoor area as well. We wanted to be unassuming from the front and then open up and be just a place that everyone can come. There's so many builders out there that you just don't know who you're going to get. Building a new house, it's up there for one of most stressful things. We wanted to get a builder that was gonna do a fabulous job, but also for it to last. When we were looking for a builder, we initially met Lee when we did our first renovation. We approached Lee again because he was fabulous to work with and we created this place that we're in now. It was really smooth, they were so easy to work with. We would speak to Lee and nothing was a problem. Everything was just really clear and very thorough. Like it all happened really quickly, but really well as well. We didn't have to worry about anything. Custom built so we got to do what we wanted to Open plan, just homely, good place for the kids. People do say when they walk in that they feel instantly relaxed. It's a very easy house to live in and just feels like home. We're so fortunate to be able to have a home that we can come to and absolutely love. That's testament to their build and creating something that we've been able to enjoy for these years.
